The Code Enforcement Board on April 22 ordered Pacifica Anastasia LLC, owner of 2 Clipper Court, to bring four openable windows into code or pay $250 a day on each window until they do.

Officer Ferris said the complaint came in March 6. Inspectors found windows that would not work; packet photos showed household items holding sashes up. Tenant Cynthia Daigre-Hines said she had waited about two and a half months on a bedroom window facing the street.

The board first talked about a two-week grace period, then amended the order to $250 a day per window. It passed 7–0.

Four sashes, four meters — up to $1,000 a day — on hardware that will not stay open without a jar underneath.
