1. Program name and sender
The program is Jacob Dascomb for City Commission Text Updates, run by Jacob Dascomb for St. Augustine Beach City Commission Seat 3, the campaign of Jacob Dascomb, nonpartisan candidate for St. Augustine Beach City Commission, Seat 3, in the November 3, 2026 election. Messages are sent from the campaign’s registered phone number.
2. What you will receive
Recurring political campaign text messages about Jacob Dascomb’s candidacy, including campaign news, his positions on local issues, events, and early voting and Election Day reminders. Donations will not be solicited by text message.
3. How you opt in
You join only by (a) checking the optional, unchecked text-message box on a form at www.jacob4sab.com and submitting the form, or (b) texting JOIN to the campaign’s number. After you join, we send one confirmation message. Agreeing to receive texts is not required to donate or post a comment.
4. Message frequency
Message frequency varies. We expect to send no more than about two messages per week, and up to one message per day during the final week before the November 3, 2026 election. The program will end after the election.
5. Cost
Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan. The campaign does not charge for messages.
6. How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You may also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE or OPTOUT, or tell us in your own words (for example, “stop texting me”). We will send one final message confirming you are unsubscribed, and you will receive no further messages unless you join again. To rejoin, reply START or JOIN.

8. Supported carriers and delivery
The program is available to U.S. mobile numbers on major carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed.
9. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder of the mobile number, or have the account holder’s permission, to join.
10. Privacy
We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text message opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
11. Florida disclaimer
Campaign text messages include the disclaimer “Paid for by Jacob Dascomb For St. Augustine Beach City Commission Seat 3” as required by section 106.147, Florida Statutes.
