Dumpster screens at Seaside Villas got a June 12 permit deadline

Article based on May 27, 2026 Code Enforcement Board Regular minutes, made available via city website ~May 27, 2026

The May 27 Code Enforcement Board told the Seaside Villas association at 30 Clipper Court to obtain a permit by June 12 for dumpster enclosures required under the city’s placement code.

Ferris said the complaint came in July 2 over a construction dumpster, then turned to the regular trash dumpsters that are supposed to be screened from public view. Associate manager Jasmine Jimenez said a special assessment was approved March 4 and the contractor had just sent a notice of commencement.

The board voted 6–0 to require the permit by June 12. No daily fine was set.

The hearing was for enclosure looks, not a sewage or fire emergency — screens around the trash, on a formal clock.
