Neighbors already said no to a tiny forest; the green committee still wrote $475 twice for a manager

On June 11, neighbors at 1st Street and 2nd Avenue told the committee they did not want a tiny forest next to their houses — rodents, neglected lots, police calls. The committee still voted $475 from this year's budget and $475 from next year's to designate a tiny-forest manager at D Street and 2nd Avenue by the pump station.

That is city time and two small checks for decorative planting neighbors already rejected. None of it is police, drainage, or a road.
