Dead private-yard trees at 715 16th Street put the owner back on the code docket

Article based on August 26, 2026 Code Enforcement Board Regular agenda, made available via city website ~Aug 12, 2026

ST. AUGUSTINE BEACH, Fla. — The city summoned Eric Kenney of 715 16th Street back to the code board Aug. 26 over dead trees in a private yard.

The packet cites city code Sec. 14-3. Staff photos caption a tree that appears dead, with only vines attached, a big branch off the tree, and scattered branches throughout a neighbor's yard. A copy of the June notice to appear was placed on the door. He was already on the June 24 docket for the same section.

The file does not say the trees threaten a roof, a power line, or the street. It says they are dead.

The board meets at City Hall, 2200 A1A South.
