Sea Oaks owner faces the code board for cutting two trees without a permit

Article based on October 28, 2026 Code Enforcement Board Regular agenda, made available via city website ~Oct 15, 2026

Tatum Bloch, owner of 29 Sea Oaks Drive, is set to appear before the city's code board over two trees taken down without a permit or an arborist report. City rules require both before a tree comes down.

The agenda names the address, the two trees, and the missing paperwork. It does not say the trees were dead, diseased, or sitting on a roof. The case, as written, is the cutting without that permission and that report.

The city that fines a resident for taking a tree down without a form is holding the hearing because the form was skipped. The packet does not say anything on the lot was harmed.

The matter is set for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, at City Hall, 2200 A1A South.
